More games, Christmas carols, and gifts--this time with about 110 Primary children from three wards in Pinares, an area on the northern part of Guatemala City. These children were very well behaved, and it was so fun to be with them. This service project was part of the zone conference for Alameda, Molino, and Las Victoria zones. These projects have been a lot of work to put together, but we can see that they are not only good for the recipients. They have helped the missionaries to feel the joy of service during a time of year that could be difficult for young adults who have never spent Christmas away from home. Once again each child received a gift bag full of treats, toys, and a picture of the Savior. The little sweetie in the yellow shirt (shown below) was very uneasy at first. She cried for the first hour, but then began to play the games, and as you can see, was very happy by the end!
