March 15, 2012--Although we had been waiting for our mission call, it arrived earlier than expected. In fact the day it arrived we did not even realize it. Because Paul and Jamie and their family were visiting, when we picked up the mail we just placed it all unopened in the laundry room. Only on the next day did we realize that the large white envelop was one we had waited for. With Paul and Jamie, and Kara & Alan and Shauna & John on the phone we opened the call. We were surprised to see we would be going to Guatemala, Guatemala City North Mission in July!
Earlier that evening we had gone out for Chinese food and found interesting fortunes in our cookies--Rick's: "You can do everything you ought to do." Lynda's: "Right now there's an energy pushing you in a new direction." Hmmm...
