This is the roof of the house behind our apartment. We always get a kick out of seeing the laundry that is dried on the roof...not hanging on a line, but actually laying on the roof! Today they have two blankets, some rugs, and some jeans. They need to put them out early, and we often see it laying out before 7:00 a.m. But then, like today, they needed to gather it all up about 10:00 a.m. because of an early shower. Usually showers don't come until the afternoon, but there is no guarantee. We'll have to remember this technique when we return home as the CC&Rs in our neighborhood do not allow a clothes line.
